I was introduced to this hidden gem by a sweetheart named Nona. Nona here shares the same frequency as I do, hence explaining why we fit each other well. We both love coffee places with great food and aesthetic surroundings, and when she stumbled upon Yamalu, she immediately DMed me saying that I need to visit this place ASAP. Thank the stars the both of us were free this week, so we set a date to visit the coffee shop together.
It was a Thursday afternoon when me, Davie, and Anggita arrived at the hidden coffee shop. Yamalu is located on the corner of the street somewhere in South Jakarta. We entered a gate, which then leaded us to the backyard of a big house. In that backyard was where Yamalu was hidden. The breezy coffee shop is surrounded with green grass and trees, along with some houseplants here and there. Both indoor and outdoor seatings were available, and of course we opted for the outdoor seating.
We ordered a lot of food and drink because we were famished and it was way passed our lunch time. I got me a plate of Lemon Chicken Risotto, Davie got himself some Butter Rice with Chicken Karaage, and Anggita settled for the Sup Iga Sapi because she was sold when the staff guaranteed her about the deliciousness of the dish. Nona didn’t order any meal, but we also had some Calamary, Chilly Fries, and Chicken Karaage to share, as well some petite Canelés.
I don’t recall ever having a Risotto before in my life, so I don’t know how Risotto are supposed to tastes like. But, I am sure that my Lemon Chicken Risotto was delicious! For some reason, the lemon worked well with the other food ingredients, such as chicken and mushroom. The flavor of my meal was savory, yet refreshingly citrusy. The firmness of the rice was just on point - not too mushy to be called rice, yet not too firm either to be called uncooked rice. This Risotto is best combined with a crunchy side dish, like the Calamari, or the Chicken Karaage!
I don’t often go for iced beverage with coffee base, because then I will get a more bold-bodied coffee which I’m not that fond of, but since it was a hot afternoon, I decided to get me the Yamalu Fix. This drink is a mix of espresso, milk, and a homemade palm sugar concoction made by the staff of Yamalu themselves. I was welcomed with a frothy milk on the top of the cold beverage, with dashes of cinnamon as well. The drink needed to be stirred well, otherwise I would be sipping on a handful of palm sugar. It really was delicious, to say the least, and the texture was very milky and simply enjoyable.
I tried a sip of Anggita’s Sup Iga Sapi’s broth and it really did tasted delicious. Very savory, very flavorful, and the beef broth was beyond delectable. I would say that if the staff could use less seasoning on the broth, the whole dish would tasted even better. There were plenty of diced meat inside the soup. Big chunks of ‘em! Anggita was really having a challenging time in finishing her lunch, despite the fact that she shared her portion with Davie and me already.
After lunch was finished, it was time for dessert! Nona recommended me the Canelé and I got me a plate of them, which consisted of four petite pieces of Canelés. I love me a good crunchy and chewy texture and those were exactly what I got from Yamalu’s Canelés! The outside texture was very crunchy, and the sugar used to make the french dessert was nicely caramelized. I did a cross section of the small munchies and was welcomed with a very nice honey color, along with a series of holes like how Canelés are supposed to be. I took a bite of it and went straight to paradise. This is, by far, the best Canelé I have ever had!
We ended our rendezvous with a series of photos at the garden adjacent to where we were seated. It truly was a fun and well-spent afternoon!
I knew Bake-a-Boo from a friend of mine in Bali. He seems to be fond of dessert and he once showed me a picture of a cold beverage with a stack of doughnut on top, which was Bake-a-Boo’s. It looked promising to me, so I decided to check the bakery out last night with Nadja.
Bake-a-Boo’s doughnut was okay and slightly heavy. It was definitely chewy, maybe because they’re using potato as its’ basic ingredients, but the texture is getting stale probably because it was already late at night. I had me the one with Regal crumbs on top, which was slightly mushy from being exposed to the air for quite a while now. Both flavors, of the doughnut and the Regal biscuits, worked quite well with each other. The white cream (I’m guessing it was butter cream) that was keeping the crackers intact with the doughnut didn’t have a dominating flavor that could ruin the whole flavor wheel, which is good. It had an airy texture similar to a mousse.
I took home a Powdered Sugar Doughnut for Mom and she loved it! For her, the doughnut was very delicious. “It will still be delicious even without the powdered sugar coating”, she said.
The thing about Bake-a-Boo’s doughnuts is that it can’t be compared to Dough Darlings’, or Dunkin’ Donuts’. The doughnuts at this petite bakery had a very similar taste and texture to those doughnuts that I usually buy at the traditional market - in which, some people usually refer them as “donat kampung”. It tasted good, but I think people who are more fond of artisan doughnuts will have a difficult time in giving Bake-a-Boo’s doughnuts a #1 trophy in their hearts. As for people who fancy traditional doughnuts more, like my Mom, this doughnut is bomb!
My Es Coklat, on the other hand, was very delicious! The chocolate used to make this cold drink had a very familiar flavor that reminded me of my childhood. It was slightly sweet, yet dominated by bitterness, which worked well to neutralize the sweetness that I obtained from the doughnut. It was a rather thick drink, but it’s a good thing that they gave a handful of ice cubes to tone down that thickness as time went by.
Nadja’s Baileys Cookies and Cream ice cream was very hard for me to savor. I could taste the strong alcoholic beverage within the ice cream and I am no fan of Baileys. For me, the combination of cream and alcohol doesn’t work well. Nadja, on the other hand, had a hard time distinguishing the Baileys. But, I do have to say that the ice cream had a very nice creamy texture.
Bake-a-Boo has this very chill and laid-back atmosphere, very suitable for those of you who would love to enjoy a chat with some munchies. There are indoor seatings, with great lighting and cute spots for you to take pictures with, as well as outdoor seatings for you to enjoy a few puffs in between your doughnut. The service given to the customer was good and the staffs were very friendly. It was a bit challenging to find a parking spot for cars though because the parking lot is very narrow.
Kurang aestetik.
Despite its’ beautiful and aesthetic Instagram spots, Kynd Community is lacking of kindness in terms of handling the locals.
It was during one morning when I decided to head North in search of a nice breakfast spot. After a good half an hour of browsing through Zomato, I decided to give Kynd Community a chance despite the distance that it took to get there from where I’m living.
When I arrived, I was awestruck with how pink and beautiful the place was. It has this tropical vibe going on and it is definitely the home base of a bunch of VSCO girls from around the world. I placed myself at this seat right at the corner, that has a wall with leafs and words painted on it, which is the number one spot to take pictures to. One of the waitress was slightly reluctant in giving me the seat, maybe because I was just by myself that morning, but she eventually gave in.
I was in the mood of having beautiful food so that I could take pictures of it and post it in my Instagram, so I opted for a DIY Gourmet Toast. I ordered a piece of guten-free bread with avocado, scrambled tofu, beet hummus, and asparagus for my toppings. I know, there was too much toppings going on on my piece of toast, but I didn’t mind. As for the drink, I got myself a Pink Latte, that consisted of beetroot, cacao, vanilla, and cinnamon. Ten minutes in and my meal was served.
The bread has this sourdough-like texture - with all its’ holes on its’ surface, not to mention the brick-like, yet crispy, crusts. It was savory and chewy, and I enjoyed it very much. The toppings that I ordered came in a small plate each, which was generously filled to the brim. I got give sticks of fat asparagus that was, probably, grilled nicely with oil and garlic. Combine all these toppings and you got yourself an Instagram food.
Too bad, despite its’ delicious food and artistic scenery, the service at Kynd Community was off. Well, at least for me, because I was the only local dinning in that morning. Other tables were occupied with tourists from the US, Australia, Korea, Japan, and they were all treated with full attention and in a very friendly manner. Unlike me, who had to came up to the counter to get myself another piece of toast because I was left hanging as I waved my hand to call one of the waitresses. Another thing was that they way they talked to me was rather upsetting - no smiles, eyebrows frowning, and the tone was a bit unfriendly.
To the waitresses at Kynd Community, please treat your guests equally. I know, the place was maybe designated for international tourists, but when a local girl needs her aesthetic needs fulfilled she ought to comply.
Boyfriend and I have been really enthusiast about burgers these days. During most of our dates, we would usually go to any dinning place that serves good meat, or mouth-watering burgers. I know it’s not good for my diet, because burgers are nothing without the buns, but I think I can have a cheat day, or two, once in a while.

Located at Pasar Cipete, this small burger joint serves very juicy burgers, with different options of fillings and sauces. The price of the burgers ranges from Rp30.000,00 to Rp70.000,00, depending on what kind of burger you’re having. They also provide a DIY burger for those of you who are feeling creative, or maybe picky regarding what you eat. The prices of each ingredients ranged from Rp5.000,00 to Rp50.000,00.
Boyfriend opted for the Chi Chi Burger, which consisted of ground beef patty, caramelized onion, confit garlic aioli, curly lettuce, beef bacon, and pickles. I had me the Uncle Phil Burger that was made out of sliced beef and cheese, aioli, and caramelized onion. Both came with the fluffiest and most succulent buns I have ever tasted within a burger. They were crazy soft you don’t have to poke it to make a hole.
My Uncle Phil Burger was delicious and very very juicy. The sliced beef shared a similar texture with Yoshinoya’s original beef bowl’s beef, which is very thin and fatty. The flavor created from combining the sliced beef with caramelized onion was just bomb!
I tried a bite of Davie’s Chi Chi Burger and was slightly disappointed by how dull it tasted. Don’t get me wrong, it was delicious to say the least, but it was lacking of surprises. There was no umph, and Davie agreed with me.

We took down the Lemmy during this one afternoon and we couldn’t move afterwards. The ginormous burger was just too much to handle by myself I didn’t finish the top bun because I was just too full. We should have ordered one burger and shared it, but we were too hungry when we arrived at the burger joint we decided to get this monstrous burger each.
The Lemmy here is the most epic burger that you can find at Lawless Burger Bar. It consisted of two thick meat patties, beef brisket, melted cheese, a generous amount of onion rings within the burger, beef bacon strips, a slab of pickle, a sunny-side-up, and a generous serving of sauce. It costed approximately Rp135.000,00 (excluding tax) for this particular burger.
This is, by far, the fanciest burger place we have ever visited. Again, we were so hungry during this particular evening, we decided to get a burger each. Little did we know, the burger came with a handful of hand-cut fries and a medium-sized dinner roll.
The Typhoon Burger is what they call this humongous burger. Consisted of Outback’s homemade fried onion rings, American cheese, lettuce, tomato, a funky sauce that goes by the name Typhoon Bloom, and of course a thick-ass juicy beef patty. Gosh, we both had a really hard time finishing our meal. I could only finish the bottom bun and I only ate half of the fries because I was too full from munching on the dinner roll earlier while I was waiting for my burger to be served.
This dish was no joke. All the ingredients used to create this baby are high quality ingredients. One of the butler, who was taking our order, asked us beforehand about how we wanted our beef patties to be. We opted for medium-well and medium-well was what we got - brownish grey on the outside and slightly pink on the inside. The meat went well with the onion rings - they were thick, battered in breadcrumbs, deep-fried, and well seasoned. I ate my french fries by dipping them into the Typhoon Bloom sauce, which tasted like a spicy mayonnaise, but didn’t put any on the burger because the burger was that flavorful it didn’t need any extra seasoning.
I love the burger buns! The inner part of the buns was fluffy and soft, yet the outer part was crispy and chewy. One bun was enough to fill my tummy, though. This meal costed us Rp149.900,00 (excluding the tax) each. Not that cheap, but doable once in a while. 10/10 would come back for more.
Burgushi

MON - SUN: 10 AM - 10 PM
A fusion of a burger and a sushi! We had the Beef Monster Burgushi, which didn’t look anything like the advertisement, but plenty enough to fill both of our stomach. It consisted of deep-fried sushi rice battered in breadcrumbs sandwiching two beef patties, two slices of cheese, cuts of beef bacon bits, a sunny-side-up, and a generous amount of Takoyaki sauce, wrapped in crispy seaweed. This burger costed us Rp39.000,00.
In my opinion, rice and beef patties don’t work well when they’re combined. I would prefer to have my rice with salmon and spicy mayonnaise if I knew that the flavor combo would be this weird. Nonetheless, we managed to finish the whole thing because we needed that extra energy boost before LANY’s Malibu Nights World Tour concert started.
Another tick off my bucket list, yaaay! Just yesterday, I finally did my dream tea time at the Peacock Lounge, along with my best friend, Angel. Both of us dressed up for the occasion just because we could and we would. We spent a good few hours at the lounge, enjoying four different flavors of tea, courtesy of TWG, and munching on some finger food that we thought wouldn’t fill our stomach because of how petite they were. We stand corrected. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience and everything - the food, the tea, the lounge itself, the service - deserves a standing ovation!
Tea time with Angel
The Peacock Lounge is located at the lobby of Fairmont Hotel. The sight of the hotel itself is already breathtaking, it’s a five-stars hotel after all, nonetheless the lounge itself. Pastel colors and sublime natural lighting are the main ornaments that flies across every corners of the room. I love how peaceful the atmosphere at the Peacock Lounge was and, although I’m not a big fan of classical music, I really enjoyed the soothing melody that was playing through out the entire lounge. Being the suburban that I am, it took me a great while to finally be able to adapt to such posh and luxurious quality.

Angel and I had the Peacock Signature Prestige that consisted of a series of sweet and savory finger food, two cups of tea, and a glass of sparkling wine. Since the two of us are very fond of tea, we opted for an alternate of exchanging the sparkling wine into another couple sets of tea, courtesy of the Peacock Lounge itself. There was a wide variety of tea that we could choose. For our first set, we settled for a Pink Flamingo and an Eternal Summer.
The tea came in a beautiful white porcelain teapot, along with a cup and a set of beverage condiments, for each one of us. My Pink Flamingo had a more subtle chocolate color compared to Angel’s Enternal Summer. It had a very light rose and coral-like color, yet the fruity sensation in every sips was very much distinguishable and rather strong. Although I don’t put sugar in my tea, the dominant peach flavor met my needs of delicious hot tea.
Angel's Enternal Summer
What was served on our table was a plate of savory refreshments - that consisted of pairs of spinach quiche, spring rolls, and bitterballen - and a set of petite sweets, finger sandwiches, Canapés, and scones presented in a handcrafted leather jewelry box. It was such a sight for sore eyes! Angel and I took a rather lengthy period of time to savor the beautiful visuals before we actually dig in.
Petit Four, you see, is a term used to refer to all the food that were served during our tea time. This words derived from French and their literal meaning is “small oven”. Basically, Petit Four consist of delicate bite-sized sweet and savory tidbits that can be eaten with only one, or two, bites with ease. If you’re interested in learning about the history of why it is named “Petite Four” you can definitely read it all here. After you’re done, please reach me and explain to me whether or not scones are considered as a Petit Four.
Such posh!
What immediately caught my eyes were the beautiful fruit tartlets that was sitting nicely on the first shelf of the jewelry box. There were two kinds of them, which were blueberry tartlets and strawberry tartlets. Then, as the waitress who was serving us continued presenting the Petite Fours, I was fixated by the sight of the finger sandwiches that was decorated with a generous slab of salmon on top. Boy, I was very determined regarding that particular sandwich. The other finger sandwiches were also visually appealing as they had edible flowers and bacon bits as crowns. Last, but not least, were the scones on the bottom shelf, along with a set of jam and butter, that were just too stunning to miss. Everything inside that box was overwhelming. If climax can be reached by having your aesthetic needs fulfilled, I would probably had multiple orgasm by then.

Have yourself a Green Apple Tartlet
My first bite of the day was the spring roll. It was crispy and filled with generous amount of shredded vegetable. The sweet and sour sauce was just on point and simply delicious, it went well with the spring roll. Unfortunately, the dish was slightly oily because I figured that it might had been deep-fried. But, I can say that the oil used was good quality oil as it didn’t give me that flaming sensation in my throat after I devour the whole thing.
There's always room for more tea
Then, I had the bitterballen, which was tasty. The sauce underneath the deep-fried ball had a very dominant mango flavor that gave that kick of freshness in every dip. It’s a shame I’m not a fan of bitterballen. But, I do have to say that the ragout had a nice thick consistency and it was flavorful.
The savory selections
This spring roll was very delicious!
The spinach quiche, on the other hand, was a wee bit too bland compared to the other two savory dishes. I love the texture of the pastry as it was not too crispy, yet not too soggy, and the slice of the quiche itself was not too big, so I could enjoy the remaining bites that were still sitting nicely inside the jewelry box.
I love love love the fruit tartlets! They were amazingly delicious! The fruits that they used to decorate the top of the custard-filled pastry were very fresh and they managed to neutralize the sweetness of the custard with their sweet and sour juice. Every bites were just delightful, and the sweetness didn’t overpower the whole flavor wheel, making me lacking that nauseous feeling whenever I ate too much sweets.

Do it for the IG!
A wide variety of Petite Fours
As for the sandwiches, oh my God the sandwiches, were all delicious and very much fulfilling! The salmon sandwich was far from disappointing- it wasn’t the slightest bit fishy, although they used raw salmon as the ingredient. Another sandwich that I tried was the egg salad sandwich with strawberry jam on top. It was also delicious and, to my surprise, strawberry jam goes really well with egg and mayonnaise mixture. Then, I had me the camembert cheese sandwich (I think it’s camembert cheese, judging from the physical appearance and the gooey texture of the cheese) that had edible flower as its’ garnish. Now, this one is somewhat heavy because of the cheese. It took me a while to finish the whole thing as it gave me that sensation of my stomach being full. Very savory, very gooey, and very cheesy. You cheese lovers out there ought to love this baby! And, last but not least, was the ham and cheese canapé that immediately stole the show. It was astonishingly luscious, creamy, and savory! The bacon bits on top elevated the whole awesomeness of the canapé, turning it from awesome to epic.
Your choice of finger sandwiches and Canapé
Phew, I sure ate a lot. But, I didn’t stop there just yet. It was time to take a break from munching and refill our tea! For our second set, Angel had herself the Grand Wedding Tea which smelled sublime, while I had me the Herb Chamomile, which had a bright yellow color similar to a packaged powdered drink named Extra Jos. I love the vanilla aroma of Angel’s Grand Wedding Tea. It also had a hint of cake-like sweetness that made me think of a rose bouquet. My Harb Chamomile tea was also delightful to enjoy in between cakes.
I had one of the Madelines and was baffled with its’ strong citrus flavor. I’m not a big fan of marmalade, but I can enjoy a slab, or two, when I feel like it. Yesterday, I wasn’t feeling like having anything citrusy, so I couldn’t quite enjoy my baked good as well as Angel enjoyed her scone with blueberry jam and marmalade custard. Nonetheless, the texture of the Madeline was spongy, yet slightly dry. Maybe, because it had been sitting in the air for a bit too long.
Pass me the butter, please?
I wonder which one should I eat first?
I tried one of the cakes, which had this lemon-like cream resting on top of a square-shaped black-colored cracker. I had a hard time distinguishing the flavor. It had numerous dominant flavor in just one bite - coffee, chocolate, vanilla, fruity - and it was very challenging for me to finish the whole thing because of how flavorful the petite cake was.
Last but not least, I wrapped up my tea time with my share of Blueberry Tartlet, which tasted as good and as refreshing as the strawberry one. I really really love the tartlet. I think I could have them everyday if I could.
Overall, spending my afternoon at the Peacock Lounge was very remarkable. I don’t have any dislikes regarding the whole experience, as well as the food and beverage that were served that day. I would definitely comeback for more with a bunch of girl friends to enjoy the amazingly delicious TWG tea and the Petite Fours.
For those of you who would love to do what I did with Angel, you can definitely head to Fairmont Hotel and sit yourselves at the Peacock Lounge. I do recommend to book a seating beforehand because the crowd is somewhat unexpected - some days, the lounge can be fully occupied, some days it can be quiet and peaceful for you to barge in on the spot. The service is great, the lounge itself is very pretty to take pictures with, and the food is unquestionably exceptional.
The apple of my eyes
As for the set, we had the Peacock Signature Prestige that costed us Rp528.000,00 per set (not per person), minus the tax. You can enjoy the luxurious set with one, up to three, of your friends. If you’re feeling like having anything out of the set, you can always order any individual food, or beverage, according to your liking.
Enjoy, fellas!

Boyfriend and I did some caffeine hunting last night. There were six hours to kill, before LANY’s Malibu Nights World Tour concert begun, and we decided to visit a few coffee shops, as well as some dinning places we didn’t even know existed before. Our first stop was, Woodpecker Coffee!
Woodpecker Coffee
Jl. Panglima Polim V, No. 23
Dharmawangsa, Jakarta
MON - SUN: 7 AM - 9 PM

Located on the side of Panglima Polim street, Woodpecker Coffee was a bit challenging for us to find because there were no signs that indicate the whereabouts of the coffee shop - even if there was, Davie and I clearly didn’t notice it. We walked for a bit, making assumptions on where the building is while crosschecking our Google Maps, until we noticed one that had a bird neon-sign on one of its’ wall. It took us a while to finally noticed that the bird was actually a woodpecker bird.
We entered the coffee shop and was immediately welcomed with a splash of white, embellished with milk chocolate here and there. A few greens were found on some of the corners, giving us that fresh feeling of pure aesthetic. I noticed some seats that were decorated with sunlights and, with that, I quietly affirm that Woodpecker Coffee is the most beautiful cafe I have ever visited, yet.
Boyfriend and I had a couple of waffles, as well as a cup of coffee each. It was a Wednesday and, to my surprise, on every Wednesdays, Woodpecker Coffee has this marvelous waffle promo where you only have to pay one for two. I was immediately sold! I had me the Banana Nutella Waffle with maple waffle as its’ base, while Davie had himself the freebie, which is an Oreo-based waffle with Vanilla ice cream on top.
Both waffles were very delicious! The Nutella used on top of my waffle was rather generous, as well as the banana slices. The batter was grilled nicely on the waffle pan, creating that golden brown color and crispy edges. Don’t let the presentation of the waffle fools you, though. It may look like a lot of work to finish the dessert , but, turned out, the waffle was very thin and it filled my stomach just fine.
As for the coffee, like always, I had me a cup of Flat White, while Davie had himself a glass of Iced Moccachino. The Flat White, in my opinion, had a relatively strong acid flavor, which was okay for me, although I prefer my coffee to be bitter. Davie, on the other hand, was fond of it.
We spent a good hour at Woodpecker Coffee before we moved on to another place, that was just across the street from where we were. It was time for a proper meal.

The name of the dinning place vividly explains what kind of food that they serve here. If you’re thinking of a fusion between a burger and a sushi, you are correct!
Davie and I shared a portion of its’ new main course that was just launched about a week ago, the Beef Monster. It consisted of two beef patties - stacked between a couple slices of cheese, topped with beef bacon strips and a sunny side up, and drizzled with Takoyaki sauce - sandwiched between two pieces of deep-fried sticky sushi rice that were coated with breadcrumbs, then covered with a big sheet of nori. To my disappointment, our Beef Monster Burgushi didn’t look like what it was presented in the advertisement.
I gotta say, I do love the deep-fried sushi rice with the Takoyaki sauce. It reminded me well of how the rice at Sushi Tei tasted like, and it’s good! On the contrary, the whole burger-filling pieces didn’t go well with the rice. I will say that having the Tuna Salad Salmon Mentai Burgushi will make a lot more sense compared to the Beef Monster Burgushi, as the rice is definitely suitable to be consumed by pairing it with food items that you can find at a sushi restaurant.
I’m not a fan of the beef patties because of how small they were, but they sure tasted fine although I’ve tasted better grilled meat before. It was a shame that the sunny-side-up didn’t have a runny yolk. If it did, it may elevate the dish to some point. On the one hand, there were only bits of bacon instead of an actual bacon strips, which was a downer for me.
Overall, the Beef Monster Burgushi was somewhat okay, but I don’t think I will be coming back for more.

After our early dinner, Davie and I visited another cafe adjacent to where Burgushi was to have our final leisure before the concert started. Harapan Djaya Coffee Roasters was where we headed for another cup of coffee.
Davie, being the curious coffee enthusiast that he is, ordered himself a glass of funky signature drink that goes by the name Kopinas - a cold drink consisted of Americano and a slab of pineapple jam. Me, on the other hand, knew that I had to have an energy booster, so I had a simple glass of hot Ginger Tea with no sugar.
Kopinas was a really mind-boggling drink. At first sip, I could taste the sourness and bitterness of a coffee, but then the pineapple jam hit me right in the tastebud and it instantly took me to a memory of pineapple tart (Kue Nastar, to be exact) that I used to eat during Eid al-Fitr. I’m not a fan, but Davie seemed to have a soft spot for this drink. However, I really enjoyed my Ginger Tea as it was hot and spicy and gave that extra spark to my body. The drink itself had a hint of sweetness here and there, despite the fact that I didn’t add any sugar into it.
We spent another good hour at the historic coffee roaster, enjoyed a game of Truth and Truth, then we ordered an online transport that eventually took us to the venue where we sang along to Paul’s rendition of Malibu Nights.
But, what’s a concert without a post-concert meal, right?

A set of Happy Meal and a cup of hot tea was all I needed. Davie, who is usually a rice person, decided to have himself a nice set of Big Mac. We also shared some French Fries, with lots and lots of ketchup on the side.
