Milky Way Chocolate Bar, the love child of Food and Cosmos, is made by a genius gastronomer named Frank C. Mars. This chocolate bar right here contains of milk chocolate coated chocolate-malt nougat. The nougat contains in Milky Way is not made out of nuts. It is, in fact, made out of egg whites, sugar, corn syrup, malted milk powder, and chocolate. It is white in color, tasted very sweet (too sweet for my taste in fact), slightly sticky, and creamy.
As a person who fancy chocolates, I don't think Milky Way will be a favorite of mine. I love chocolate that has something to bite on, like nuts or caramel for example, and Milky Way didn't have the criteria. As I said before, the chocolate bar consisted of chocolate coated chocolate-malt nougat, meaning the whole bar is fragile and chewy. Sure, it is bitable, but it lacks of other ingredients to chew.
When being compared to Snickers, Milky Way doesn't stand a chance to win. Snickers is four-times better than Milky Way because it contains of real nougat, caramel, and peanuts. But the thing is that Snickers and Milky Way are siblings, because they were manufactured by the same company that Frank C. Mars made, the Mars, Incorporated. Well, you know what they say, "There's a black sheep in every family.".
