Graduation's Eve

The day before our graduation, the students of Global Prestasi School was told to meet at school to do a graduation practice. We spent about three hours in school, practicing on how we enter the building with our toga and stuff. After the rehearsal, Sally and I decided to stop by at Gudang Rottie to enjoy some drinks. I ordered myself a glass of Lychee Iced Tea, while Sally had some Iced Chocolate Volcano. We were just going to enjoy ourselves with some drinks, but I spotted a tray of soup in a bread bowl fresh from the oven and I couldn't help not to get some.

My Lychee Iced Tea and Sally's Iced Chocolate Volcano

The soup in a bread bowl looked appealing as the bread had this slightly burnt top and was golden brown in color. Sally and I didn't know the appropriate way to eat such dish, so I just mindlessly destroyed the bread and inserted it to the soup. I have to say that the soup tasted delicious, not to mention the chef gave a rather generous amount of chicken cubes inside. I was a bit disappointed with the amount of the soup though. It didn't even reach half of the bowl's height, which made the amount of the soup and the bread became uneven. Despite its lack of quantity, both the soup and the bread tasted great, especially when you eat them together.

Add some Heinz's tomato ketchup to add some flavor

Happy eating!

  1. Graduation's Eve! That seems very interesting. I hope you enjoyed every moment. For my daughter’s graduation party I had booked the prettiest rooftop San Francisco event venues and hosted surprise party for her. She totally loved my surprise.
